I started SnapDragon Associates, LLC in April of 2004, and it has been a journey. In 2004, when we were getting our feet wet, the recruiting world was like navigating through a dense fog without a compass. Picture this: no LinkedIn, job boards were non-existent, and AI? That was the stuff of sci-fi movies. Recruiting was all about who you knew, making calls, and building trust the old-fashioned way, especially in the niche world of retail lumber. I credit having to rely on conversations as one of the critical pillars of our success.

The Tech Evolution

Fast forward through the years, and it’s like we’ve been riding a high-speed train through the evolution of technology and industry demands. The Building Products sector has been booming, and with it, there is a need for top-notch recruits who aren’t just great at what they do but understand the bigger business picture. It’s been crucial to find folks who understand how their decisions trickle down to affect the company’s bottom line, but more importantly, that they can present this to senior leadership and teach their teams the same understanding.

Our Journey
